A word from Dr. Ovadia.

He recorded this for everyone who picked up the magnet. Worth two minutes before you start Week 1.

What Lands In Your Inbox

Three things, starting the moment you sign up.

No course to work through and nothing to buy.

The Complete Recipe Collection

All of it at once, not fed to you a week at a time. The recipes aren’t tied to any one week, so cook whatever appeals to you, during the four weeks or long after them.

Guidance That Follows

A short run of emails on what the four weeks are actually for, and the handful of habits that decide whether this works for you.

The Printable Roadmap

A high-resolution PDF of the magnet, for your desk, your bag, or the person who keeps asking what on earth you’re allowed to eat.

The 4-Week Elimination Diet

A 4-week progression to healing.

Each week keeps everything from the week before and adds one new group. If a food causes a reaction, you know exactly which tier to step back to.

Week 1

Strict Carnivore Elimination

Foods allowed

  • Ruminant red meat: Beef, lamb, bison, elk, venison
  • Organ meats (nature’s multivitamins): Liver, heart, kidney, spleen
  • Salt and hydration: Sea salt, mineral water, electrolyte support, filtered water
  • Fat sources: Beef tallow, suet, marrow fat
  • Ruminant bone broth and collagen-rich cuts: Oxtail, shank, knuckle bones
Week 2

Ovo-Carnivore

All of Week 1, plus

  • Monogastric meats: Pork (pastured), wild boar, duck
  • Poultry: Chicken, turkey, quail
  • Eggs: Whole pasture-raised chicken eggs, duck eggs
  • Fatty cuts and rendered fat: Duck fat, lard (from clean sources)
  • Bone broth from poultry
  • Low-histamine fish (if tolerated): Cod, haddock, halibut
Week 3

Lacto-Aqua-Carnivore

All of Weeks 1 and 2, plus

  • Fatty fish: Wild-caught salmon, sardines, anchovies, mackerel
  • Shellfish: Oysters, mussels, clams, crab, shrimp
  • High-fat dairy: Grass-fed butter, ghee, aged cheese, kefir, Greek yogurt (full-fat, plain)
  • Fish roe (caviar): Nutrient-dense, but can be allergenic
Week 4 and beyond

Hunter-Gatherer Optional

All of Weeks 1, 2 and 3, plus

  • Sprouted grains: Ezekiel bread, 100 percent sprouted wheat, barley, lentils
  • Fermented vegetables: Sauerkraut, kimchi (watch garlic and onion)
  • Cooked root vegetables: Peeled and pressure-cooked carrots, yams, sweet potatoes
  • Low-toxin fruits: Peeled apples, blueberries, bananas (ripe only)
  • Well-prepared legumes: Lentils, split peas, pressure-cooked after soaking
  • Avocados and cucumbers: Peeled and deseeded
  • Raw honey: In small quantities, if tolerated
Real Situations

The moments the magnet doesn’t cover.

A work dinner. An airport. Your mother-in-law’s casserole. A list on your fridge can only tell you so much. Here is how Dr. Ovadia thinks about three of them.

You’re at a steakhouse in Week 1.

Ribeye, salt, water. Skip the bread basket, the sauce and the “seasonal vegetables.” Ask them to cook it dry or in tallow — butter is a Week 3 food.

It’s Week 2 and dinner is a supermarket rotisserie chicken.

Eat it. Poultry is on the Week 2 list. Pull the skin off if it’s been coated in a sugar-and-seed-oil rub, and read the label before you assume it’s just chicken.

Week 4, and someone puts dessert on the table.

Raw honey is on the list. Cake isn’t. A spoon of honey or a handful of blueberries closes the loop without reopening four weeks of elimination.
